Alfa Romeo has announced prices for the Alfa Giulietta
Its little brother – the Alfa Romeo MiTo – started the ball rolling. For the first time in my lifetime an Alfa Romeo – albeit a little one – was not just reliable, but it was also a sensible buy. So you could buy your little runaround with your heart and your head wouldn’t blow a gasket.
At first it had all the appearances of a routine police checkpoint, a simple little affair in which some warnings might be issued, possibly some speeding tickets. But otherwise our group of 18 or so U.S. automotive journalists driving a fleet of high-priced Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG sedans would be allowed to continue on our merry way through the Spanish countryside.
The Jaguar C-X16 gets a production name today
Jaguar will reveal the name for the C-X16 to day at the New York Auto Show - and it won’t be XE - signalling the way forward for Jaguar nomenclature. Update: It’s the Jaguar F-Type! Last week Jaguar told us they had some exciting news to reveal at the New York Motor Show and, although we’d hope for a nice new Jaguar reveal, it looks like the news will be the production name for the Jaguar C-X16 and the news it will arrive in showrooms in 2013 first of all as a roadster.
